What do an Israeli fighter pilot, Albert Einstein, and the creators of world-changing technologies have in common? They all embody a tradition of curiosity, courage, and perseverance that has shaped the Jewish story for generations.
Join AKLA for a one-of-a-kind leadership day designed to challenge, inspire, and empower the next generation of Jewish leaders. At The Squadron, participants will step into the cockpit of an F-35 fighter jet and take on high-pressure flight simulator missions modeled after the training methods of the Israeli Air Force. Working alongside experienced pilots and instructors, teens will discover how confidence, teamwork, adaptability, and decisive thinking can transform challenges into opportunities and ideas into action.
The day continues through AKLA's Innovation Lab, where Virtual Reality, interactive technology, and hands-on challenges bring some of the most remarkable Jewish and Israeli contributions to life. From Einstein's revolutionary ideas to breakthroughs in medicine, agriculture, defense, and technology, students will discover how bold thinking has transformed the world and how their own ideas can shape the future.
Through Krav Maga training and team-based challenges, participants will explore the values of resilience, responsibility, and personal strength while developing practical skills that build confidence both inside and outside the classroom.
The day concludes with AKLA's powerful Remembrance program, connecting students to the stories, sacrifices, and achievements that have shaped Jewish life across generations. In a time when Jewish identity matters more than ever, participants will leave with a deeper understanding of where they come from, what they stand for, and the role they can play in the future of the Jewish community.
